There are five main playable character classes and two non-playable ones. (These will be updated further as game development progresses, including skills and class paths.)

The Concoctive Alchemist
Alchemists are experts at creating potions, meticulously mixing various ingredients together for different effects. Although they rarely venture out on their own, preferring the relative safety of cities, they usually accompany larger parties to foray for essential ingredients.
Advantages
- They can create a wide range of potions effective in combat for offensive, defensive and healing purposes.
- High intelligence, wisdom and dexterity.
- Effective use of multi-hit explosives and incendiaries.
Disadvantages
- Physically weak in combat, but can create a wide range of healing, offensive and defensive potions.
- Low hit points and magic points.
- Low class development.

The Innovative Archaeomage
Archaeomages are usually shady characters, steeped in orphic mystery, who have studied ancient technologies and utilise them for their own personal gains. They can construct powerful automatons to do their bidding; in combat, these automatons deliver a devastating amount of damage.
Advantages
- Very high intelligence, enabling them to adapt and use ancient technologies.
- Capable of creating powerful automatons, usable in combat.
Disadvantages
- Low strength and hit points, as they tend to hide behind their creations.
- Cannot use regular weapons, can only use archaeo-technical weapons.

The Sanative Cleric
Clerics are pious pantheists specialising in healing through prayer. They also have a thorough understanding of the human anatomy, so are capable of mending broken bones. What Clerics lack in physical strength they more than compensate for in their skillwork.
Advantages
- Capable of healing and resurrecting fallen party members through pray and divine intervention.
- High magic points and wisdom.
- Has the largest arsenal of defensive and protective spells.
Disadvantages
- Can only wear light armour (cloth and light leather) and can wield blunt weapons (staffs, bludgeons and maces).
- Have only a few offensive spells, although they are potentially very powerful.
- Low hit points and physical strength.

The Sacerdotal Druid
Druids are naturists, highly in tuned with nature and natural order for their arcane craft. They can summon animals to act on their behalf, either for combat or support, and can utilise the earth’s inherent elements to create some devastating effects, although their arsenal is comparatively small.
Advantages
- Has a wide range of offensive and defensive skills and spells.
- High magic points, intelligence and constitution.
- Can summon animals to aid in combat or other areas.
Disadvantages
- Limited to using staffs, maces and daggers.
- Elemental spells are limited, but can be highly effective.

The Fearless Warrior
Warriors are the lean, mean fighting machines. They are usually the first into the fray, delivering powerful blows to enemies in readiness for other party members to finish them off. They are not intrinsically magic-users, although they do have a wide range of skills to reflect their fighting prowess.
Pros
- Can equip all weapons and armour without restriction.
- Powerful melee attacks, capable of inflicting substantial natural damage.
- Highest hit points, attack, defence and constitution.
Cons
- Cannot use magic, but can use combat-based skills.
- Low intelligence and wisdom, reducing ability to use magic items.
